Training Courses(Updated 13th July 2010) Playing Matters is offering the following training programmes in 2010/2011: Children Matter: EDINBURGH WORKSHOPS Two-Day CPD workshop for School Staff, Counsellors, Arts Therapists, Trainees: "An Introduction to Play Therapy & Therapeutic Play: Working with Children & Young People" Saturday 6th November and Sunday 7th November 2010
Children Matter: Course for professionals working with children and young people, held over three weekends in London and Edinburgh in 2011.
An accredited course for professionals, linking theory with the practice of working with children, young people (and adults). There are three Units:
Active Listening Matters (6-day accredited course for Social Workers, Community Youth Workers, Nursing staff, and those requiring knowledge and skills to listen to and work with children and young people)
