Training for Arts Therapists, Dramatherapists, Play Therapists and Counsellors Working with Children and Young People

TRAINING the TRAINERS 3-day COURSE

This Course is designed for therapists and counsellors, who lead teams of professionals and/or volunteers, to train their own people in effective ways to engage, communicate and work with children and young people using narrative, play, art, creative materials and metaphor. On Day 1 we are concerned with facilitation skills, knowledge of theory and the developmental model of play. On Day 2 we develop skills of working creatively and how to manage the Group Process. On Day 3 we use practical experiential exercises for participants to practice using the participant group.

Children Matter Course
